The Board of Directors have updated the directive made at their meeting held Wednesday 15th April from which it was advised that the resumption of competition and social golf at the Finley Golf Club would take place from Saturday 18th April 2020.
Golf and the use of club house facilities will be subject to all current Government social distancing and numbers in a gathering regulations, which will be strictly enforced with suspension of membership for three (3) months with no recompense of paid membership for any member who breaches these restrictions & rules.
In addition to these regulations, the current restrictions/regulations regarding to visitors, playing the game of golf and use of the golf course, as recommended by Golf NSW, relating to group numbers, motorised carts, remain.
Along with the above matters the Board have considered also the question of players over 70 years & have agreed that while all safeguards are in place the decision to play for all participants lies entirely with the individual.
The Government legislation has made these restrictions clear and has considerable fines in place for any breach of these restrictions by the Club, Members and Visiting Players. All are encouraged to present and play golf within these limits.
Stay safe. Enjoy golf.
